- 1 cup organic unsalted almonds, roughly chopped
- 1 cup demerara sugar
- 1 cup filtered water
- Combine everything into a saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Stir constantly to dissolve the demerara sugar.
- Bring to a boil and then remove from heat.
- Let steep for 30 minutes – 1 hour.
- Strain and transfer your syrup to a clean glass container.
You can store your mixture in the fridge for up to a month!
