I am so excited! I just started a new series on my YouTube channel where I combine my two favorite loves in this life: art history and mocktails! And what better artwork to start with than Van Gogh’s masterpiece, The Starry Night?!
Category: Drinks
While most of the drinks here are either cocktails or mocktails, I promise that I drink other things! I will share those recipes with you as soon as possible 🙂

Back in my day, there was something called “Sweethearts” and these weren’t just your loved ones, but they were candies! Gather around children, let me tell you the wonderful tale of “Sweethearts!”

While this mocktail is almost laughably simple, this drink is so elegant because of it’s simplicity! 🙂

My Vegan Chocolate Covered Strawberry Mocktail is truly as decadent as it sounds! The recipe is super simple (just 3 ingredients!), so you’ll be drinking it before you can say “Vegan Chocolate Covered Strawberry Mocktail”!

I can’t believe this has happened…I used to make fun of people who ordered a #PSL from Starbucks and here I am…writing a post about how to create your very own Paleo Pumpkin Spice Latte at home…ugh.
Who am I?!?

I don’t know about you, but I love creating food and drinks that fit a specific theme, holiday, or color scheme! And the Fourth of July checks all three boxes!
I go all out for pretty much any occasion (like that one time I went to a tiki bar wearing a Hawaiian print shirt and a lei only to be repeatedly mistaken for a server). Whether you are observing the Fourth this year or not, you can still enjoy a delicious cocktail…or 5 🙂

While often associated with Mexican culture, the Margarita might actually descend from these three popular 19th and 20 century cocktails in America.

See what I did there? I used “spring in my title”…’cause it’s punny…ahh, I need to get out of quarantine. Ok, moving on…these spring cocktails are super delish and so easy to make. They use the same 4 ingredients and how easy (and cost effective) is that?!

As I mentioned in both my daiquiri and margarita posts, I hate using store-bought mixers for cocktails. They’re either way too artificial tasting or they’re filled with a bunch of bad-for-you garbage like yucky sweeteners or UB40…err, I meant Red 40. 😬
Because of this, I’m sharing with you my super simple simple syrup recipes! No longer will you have to rely on buying syrups chock full of additives and fillers. Just create your own simple syrups instead! They’re so incredibly easy to make and each recipe follows the same basic formula: water, Demerara sugar, and your base ingredient! 🙂

This isn’t the sickeningly sweet, fluorescent pink daiquiri that you think you know and love. This is the real deal. No artificial sweeteners. No Red40. No blended ice.
